The Milo School was built in 1894. When you enter the front door you are in the original building. There are studios on the ground floor, first floor and second floor of the original structure. The original studios on the first and second floor feature high tin ceilings and hardwood floors.
In the 1920s an additional row of classrooms was added along the back of the original building. Most of these studios feature hardwood floors.
In 1953 gymnasium was added to the east end of the building.
In the 1956 an additional wing was added going south from the west side of the building. Studios in this wing have cement floors and cinderblock walls.
Both of the newer additions have first and second floor studios.
Some studios have kitchens and bathrooms, some kitchens alone, and some are just open space. Some have lofts built in.
There are several common lavatories in the halls. There are men's and women's showers on the ground floor.
